The Treasure is an all-villa resort comprised of 37 units and located on the untouched island of Koh Madsum. Opened in mid-2013, the property boasts a wide range of facilities and services for guests to enjoy from this intimate island destination.





The Treasure’s design incorporates high-quality materials including teak wood, bamboo, limestone and marble, with many open-air venues from which to enjoy the numerous views from either side of the island. All villas offer outdoor Salas, while others come with beachfront views and private swimming pools.

The resort spans from one side of Koh Madsum to the other, where guests can enjoy a coral reef and white sand beach.

Noticeably absent are many of the features that have become notoriously well known to islands in the Gulf of Siam: there are no bank machines, fast food chains, shopping centers, cars, or even private residences on Koh Madsum. What you will find is The Treasure Resort, a haven of serenity surrounded by two stunning shores, one with a white sand beach and the other with a coral reef.

All 37 Villas at The Treasure are free-standing individual units, each with outdoor balconies or lounge areas and high-quality amenities. Villas are outfitted with king beds ideal for couples, and come with a sofa bed upon request for additional guests.

Sala Villas are located throughout the resort and are the entry-level accommodation at The Treasure. They feature a bedroom, bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, sofa, as well as an outdoor lounge area. Tented Villas are located in the center of the resort and situated encircling a black limestone swimming pool and large wooden deck. Beachfront Pool Villas are located on the “Sandy-Beach” side of The Treasure directly on the beachfront. They come with a large swimming pool and outdoor lounge, as well as their own private piece of beachfront from which to bask in the sun, enjoy a private romantic meal, or take in a stunning Koh Madsum sunset with views of Samui. Beachfront Pool Villas come with a bedroom, bathroom with an oversized luxury-soaking bathtub, as well as a working area and sofa.

The Beach:
Hours of Operation: Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The Beach is an all-day lunch outlet situated on the beachfront of Koh Madsum’s “Sandy-Beach” side and adjacent to the resort’s reception area. An open-air restaurant with a casual feel, The Beach serves a variety of Thai and international cuisine for lunch. A fully stocked bar is on hand to quench any thirst, including local and international beers, spirits, cocktails, fresh fruit blends and smoothies.

The Coral:
Hours of Operation: Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. - 10.30 a.m., Dinner: 5.30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (10 p.m. last order)
The Coral is The Treasure’s main restaurant where semi-formal dining can be enjoyed in a casual yet luxurious environment. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating, and is situated on the “Coral-Beach” side of Koh Madsum. The Coral expands out onto a large wooden deck which also features the resort’s main swimming pool. Here guests can enjoy views of the coral reefs surrounding Koh Madsum as well as a modern-style pool which is lighted in the evenings with vibrant colors to accent the magnificent views. Dining is available for breakfast and dinner with a selection of Thai and international favorites.

The Chill:
Hours of Operation: 07:30 am. - 10:30pm.
The Chill is The Treasure's outdoor lounge, where guests can chill-out and take in the stunning views from the "Coral-Beach" side of island. The lounge site adjacent to The Coral Restuarant and the resort's main swimming pool, wuth oversized cushions and all day drink and snack service available.

The Spa:
The Spa at The Treasure offers a variety of treatments and facilities to make your stay on Koh Madsum peaceful yet invigorating at the same time. Features include an open-air Sala for foot and Thai massage, as well as private treatment rooms for more specialized therapies. A selection of rooms come equipped with outdoor showers and over-sized bathtubs in which to relax following your treatment.

Swimming Pools:
The Treasure’s main swimming pool is situated on the "Coral-Beach" side of Koh Madsum, and is designed in an elegant, modern style in white limestone with sharp angles and unique lighting for the evenings. Guests can enjoy the pool along with beverage and snack service throughout the day.

The Treasure’s second swimming pool is centered around the resort’s eight Tented Villas, and is also designed in a unique style with black limestone and illuminated in several different colors at night.

• The Treasure is located on Koh Madsum, a small island 30 minutes by long-tail boat from Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. Bangkok Airlines operates flights from Bangkok’s international airport directly to Samui Island regularly throughout the day, with flights taking just under an hour.
• Koh Madsum can be reached by boat from Koh Samui: The Treasure Koh Madsum-Samui Pier our local pier is Thong Tanode Bay have been located in Baan Pangka south-western of Samui.
• The Treasure provides transfers to and from Koh Madsum 3 times per day, on a first come first serve basis with the following schedule:

Located on Koh Mudsum, a small island 30 minutes by speed boat south of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand. Koh Samui is situated on the eastern coast of Southern Thailand and is the largest of an archipelago of more than 80 islands. Bangkok Airways operates flight from Bangkok's international airport directly to Samui Island regularly throughout the day and the flight takes just under an hour. The Treasure can arrange round trip transfer to guest from the airport to the resort's private pier and then to the island itself via private speedboat.
